SCIENCE

Classes
Physical Science Lab-available as an Honor 1 credit // Grades 9-12
Students explore the building blocks of our world and how these small particles interact to create energy and physical mass. Lessons on measurement, observation, and evaluation encourage students to see the world through the eyes of science.
Chemistry Lab-available as an Honor 1 credit // Grades 10-11
This course designed to introduce them to the atoms, molecules, elements, and compounds. Students will explore metrics, measurement, equilibrium, chain reactions, organic compounds, and the chemist's toolbox with on and off-computer lessons and experiments.
Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 credit // Grades 12 Prerequisite-
Biology In this course, students will learn about the body systems and how they interact. They will also develop a deeper understanding of Latin/Greek prefixes/suffixes. A basis in biology is important as a foundation for this course.
High School Natural Sciences 1 credit // Grades 10-12
Natural Sciences is intended to expose students to the designs and patterns in God’s physical universe. Some of the areas covered in this course are nuclear energy, Earth’s surface, constellations, oceanography, astronomy, and the future of science.
Biology Lab-available as an Honor 1 credit // Grades 9-10
This course is complete study of living things, this biology lab course includes lessons about plant and animal classification, habitats, the human body, cells and reproduction, ecology, microbiology, and biotechnology.
Physics Lab-available as an Honor 1 credit // Grades 11-12 Pre-requisites:
Algebra I, Physical Science, Bio This course, students will explore the physical world and the universe including light, motion, energy, electricity, magnetism, waves, nuclear energy, and thermodynamics.
